MRI (OPEN GANTRY)

MRI provides good contrast between the different soft tissues of the body, which make it especially useful in imaging the brain, muscles, the heart, and cancers compared with other medical imaging techniques such as computed tomography (CT) or X-rays. Unlike CT scans or traditional X-rays, MRI uses no ionizing radiation. Our 0.2 Tesla open gantry, state-of-the art equipment enables us to diagnose soft tissue, joints, spine and advanced brain disorders. GE Equipment from USA produces excellent picture quality to pin point the cause of the disease

SPIRAL CT SCAN (24 HRS)

CT has become an important tool in medical imaging to supplement X-rays and medical ultrasonography. It has more recently been used for preventive medicine or screening for disease, for example CT colonography for patients with a high risk of colon cancer, or full-motion heart scans for patients with high risk of heart disease. A number of institutions offer full-body scans for the general population.GE Hi-speed Spiral CT Scanner enables us to do very fast emergency CT Scan studies of brain and other body parts. Our 24 hrs. service makes us stand unique among all diagnostic providers in Kolkata

ULTRASONOGRAPHY

Ultrasonography is an ultrasound-based diagnostic imaging technique used for visualizing subcutaneous body structures including tendons, muscles, joints, vessels and internal organs for possible pathology or lesions. Obstetric sonography is commonly used during pregnancy and is widely recognized by the public. This investigation has revolutionized medical diagnostic treatment in present times. We have imported highly sophisticated equipment from Toshiba, Japan. Detailed study of Liver, Gall Bladder, Pancreas, Kidneys etc. can be done. We also do Trans-Vaginal-Sonography Study

VASCULAR DOPPLER & SMALL PARTS ULTRASOUND STUDY

Vascular ultrasound is performed to:
" help monitor the blood flow to organs and tissues throughout the body.
" locate and identify blockages (stenosis) and abnormalities like plaque or emboli and help plan for their effective treatment.
" detect blood clots (deep venous thrombosis (DVT) in the legs or arms.
" determine whether a patient is a good candidate for a procedure such as angioplasty.
" evaluate the success of procedures that graft or bypass blood vessels.
" determine if there is an enlarged artery (aneurysm).
" determine the source and severity of varicose veins.

It is an uncommon diagnostic procedure available only at a few select places. Imaging of amount of blood flowing in various blood vessels can be detected and the velocity can be measured with high frequency transducer. Ultrasound of small parts like thyroid, breast, testes or any mass is possible.

DIGITAL X-RAY INVESTIGATIONS

Computerised radiography is a form of x-ray imaging, where digital X-ray sensors are used instead of traditional photographic cassette. Advantages include time efficiency through bypassing chemical processing and the ability to digitally transfer and enhance images. Also less radiation can be used to produce an image of similar contrast to conventional radiography. All type of Digital & Plain X-rays can be done with our high power 500 mA, General Electric X-Ray system. The Fuji processor generates digital quality images to identify the exact diagnosis.
